Great recovery from a close call
All I had to do was take care of our taupo accommodation and wouldn’t you know it, I forgot about it. Of course I didn’t let my girlfriend know that I had made this mistake as I would have never heard the end of it. I managed to very sneakily send a text message to a friend and get him to call a book a nice place for us. I definitely owe my friend as he booked us a great spot which then made my partner think that I had organized this lovely getaway. Even though it was a lot more than I had planned on spending, it was great and we had a good time away.
