Bristol, RI
Bristol, RI is a beautiful little seaside community in New England’s – and the nation’s – tiniest state. Known for its scenic views of the water, quaint village setting, historic mansions, and its famous Fourth of July celebration, this hidden gem has long been my family’s favorite summer vacation destination. And we didn’t need a travel guide or an rtw ticket to find this lovely little hamlet, rather we simply searched the internet one day looking for vacation locations that were somewhat off the beaten path. That was ten years ago and we have been going back ever since. Whether it’s a biking outing through Colt State Park, antiquing in downtown Bristol Center, or eating at any one of the town’s many fine or casual dining offerings there’s no doubt that a vacation to Bristol will be as enjoyable and relaxing as it is affordable.
