The gateway to success

Bangalore to Thirupathi

When Tipu Sultan’s troops were defeated by the British Colonel Arthur Wellesley (Duke of Wellington), the power shifted back to Vadiyaram and surrounding lands were united into the state of Mysore. In 1956, the capital of Karnataka, Bangalore and Mysore has lost its former political influence for the Buses from Bangalore to Thirupathi. Today Mysore – a big industrial city, which nevertheless retained the oasis of fragrant gardens, radial avenues and a huge palace of the Maharajah. The massive building days, prior to independence with a series of shopping streets such as Ashok Road and Sayaji Rao Road, attach to the spirit of the former greatness of the city’s central business district, ottnenyaya clogged roads.
