Language
It is very common in today’s society to hear vulgar and offensive language all around you, no matter where you go. Though some people just call it old fashioned, or even prudish, mormon doctrine teaches that we should be clean in all aspects of our lives, even in the language that we use. The knowledge that we are each children of God can help people to have better self-esteem and want to be a better, wholesome person. Those who gain an education and have self-worth find that there is no need to use foul or offensive language, because they can express themselves in much better ways.
