Is it Hard to Learn Spanish in Six Months?
How hard is it to learn enough Spanish in six months to speak reasonably fluently? I have a shot at going to Mexico City with a friend, and I’d enjoy speaking the Spanish language while I’m there. I do have 3-4 hours a day between now and then that I can commit to study (I don’t have a job right now). My concern is figuring out the best way to learn Spanish during this time so I don’t make a fool of myself when I get to Mexico. I want to learn contemporary Spanish, not the old fashioned formal language they spoke a hundred years ago.
