Many people when they have a problem, prefer to contact the customer support representative and have a one on one basis conversation instead of contacting through email. This is due to the human satisfaction that the customer usually feels when they talk to a representative of the service provider they are using. A good example is ebay being an online purchase system that serves the sale and and buying of goods and services. A representative at the customer care department in ebay termed it as a human psychology saying that the customers who called ebay by phone did not necessarily have very serious cases as opposed to those who used email.
