On the Job Improvements
I recently made a couple of suggestions at work that really paid off. I suggested that we buy some cushioned floor mats for easing the pressure on employees’ joints and that we buy first aid medical supplies for every work station. As a result of these improvements my boss received a bonus and in turn bought me a nice gift certificate. Additionally, I was asked to be on our in house safety committee. This allows me to gain a lot of experience with safety issues and to improve my resume as well. I am glad that I spoke up with my suggestions.
