It Will Help Us Get Back on Our Feet
Finally, my children are asleep. I don’t want them to see me cry. Ever since their father passed away, I have struggled to support them on my own. I don’t have much education, so I haven’t been able to get a job for more than minimum wage. Yesterday, I got a letter from the mortgage company telling me that they are going to foreclose on our house. The power company is threatening to turn off our power. I think I am going to have to swallow my pride and get on assistance for single mothers. Maybe that would help enough that we will be able to get back on our feet.
