What Defines A Migraine?
Migraines are defined to be a neurological condition that affects the brain. A migraine is often confused with general headaches among people, but it should not be. Migraines involve a number of more complex things than simple headaches. Migraines may be preceeded by an “aura” which can involve flashing lights, nausea, vomiting and other visual disturbances. Headaches are usually simple and most are caused by either muscular tension, dehydration or stress. Migraines on the other hand, have specific triggers which are identifiably different for every sufferer.
I guess you could say that migraines are much more serious than a simple headache and they should be treated as soon as possible.
