When it comes to sleep apnea, there are things you can do to prevent problems. First, you may need to keep your weight in check. If you are overweight, you could snore and have breathing problems. This is no good. Sleep apnea causes you to stop breathing in your sleep. This deprives your body’s cells of oxygen each night and you suffer for it daily. Besides being tired all the time, you end up being crabby and have low tolerance for things that frustrate people. Further, you won’t be able to think clearly and your ability to function falls.
