Looking at the Known Side Effects of Bisphosphonate Drugs
I need to talk to my mother about her osteoporosis medication. Her doctor prescribed an osteoporosis medication last week and I have found that the side effects of bisphosphonate drugs are nothing to ignore. The most common side effects are related to the GI tract and cand include conditions like nausea, diarrhea, and sever constipation. There are a few more serious conditions one that results in a disease in the jaw bone. I would like her to wait until we do some further research before she begins taking it. Perhaps we can find a more natural solution to treat her condition.
