Beware of any vehicle
Beware of any vehicle that doesn’t have an available service history. Even if the mileage is low, it could still have been badly maintained. Try to see previous MoT certificates to prove that the mileage is what the dealer is claiming it to be. Uneven tread wear can indicate a more serious problem with the vehicle, so be very wary if you spot this. Check all of the tyres carefully for splits or cracks in the walls of the tyres; these can of course be replaced, but should be pointed out nevertheless. The same thing goes for very deep scratches in plastic windows that are too deep to be removed by polishing. It’s expensive to replace such windows in motorhomes like elddis motorhomes, so point this out.
