Livin in a 4G World Without a 4G Map
I’m eagerly anticipating the day that 4G coverage actually catches up with the pace that new 4G phones are coming out. I have better things to do than camp out in front of a retail store to be the first person to get the newest phone. At the same time, I don’t want to be left behind. But I can’t justify dropping a week’s pay on a phone that might not even be able to access 4G while I’m at school or when I’m home for the holidays. What I’ll probably end up doing is buying an unlocked phone and wait a month or two to see which network has the most coverage at my house and at school. I work hard for my money, and I want to reward myself with the latest and greatest. But what good is the latest and greatest device if the network it runs on is old hat? Thankfully there is the freedom to buy a phone with no contract and pick and choose who you want to run with.
