I Started Playing The Guitar In a Band
I had heard that some of the guys in our church were going to be forming a band, and I wanted to join. I knew that they were going to hold auditions, and I decided that I needed to brush up on my guitar skills if I was to be considered. I went online and started reading some online guitar articles, and there was a link so that I could take some online lessons. I worked out the rough spots, and my playing was better than ever. I auditioned, and last week I got the call that I’m going to be playing the lead guitar!
